Also this year, ALD Automotive is happy about an excellent result in the EcoVadis certification: we were awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal for our efforts in the field of sustainability. After Silver two times in a row, we were even able to beat the result.
Already for the third time, ALD Automotive has undergone the assessment by the international platform EcoVadis and once again conforms to the high evaluation standards regarding Corporate Social Responsibility. The result of the past year could be improved with 70 out of 100 points. Especially the respectively 10 per cent improvement in the evaluation categories environment, working conditions, and sustainable procurement have helped to reach the Gold Standard. Particularly encouraging: with this outstanding result, ALD Automotive has made it into the top 3 per cent of the companies in the sector that are assessed by EcoVadis.
Martin Kössler, Regional Director of ALD Automotive, is happy about the Gold Medal and gives an outlook on the future: “The improvement for the third time in a row confirms our implemented CSR strategy and motivates us to keep developing our sustainability goals. Only a few aspects prevent us from receiving the Platinum award. Therefore, we have a clear objective in mind.”
